. . . and include a photo.

We don't seem to be having much success with the 'Introduce Yourself' idea at the moment but you can include a photo and some personal information about yourself on the Profile page!

I sincerely hope you're enjoying the forum and the website. Everything will look and feel a little more professional in time for next season. I promise!

Hi, My name is Lawrie and i'm from Perth in Scotland and i support Scotland,St Johnstone and West Ham (in that order). I get to Spain a couple of times a year and would like to catch some local football when there. I am hoping to go and see the Hercules v Gimnastic next sunday as i am staying in Benidorm for a week. Any info on ko times and prices would be gratefully appreciated. I think i've sussed the travel on the wee train from Benidorm to Alicante so any info on do's and don't and of course a good pub for pre/after match refreshments would be helpfull. Smiley

Hi Lawrie,

A guy called James sent me a question about this through the contact form the other day - Are you mates?

Anyway, as soon as I know the kick-off times I'll post them in the Segunda División thread at http://forum.spain-football.org/index.php/board,4.0.html

The definitive dates only come out a few days before most games - Spain is terrible in this aspect but to be honest that's why I love it.

I'll have a quick look round the sites I use now but I never completely trust the info for games outside the First Division until Wed/Thur of the week before.

You shouldn't have to pay more than twenty euros per ticket and you'll be able to get in on the day - no proble.

Finally, welcome to my little forum and I'll be supporting Tarragona (I think it's going to be on telly)

hi simon,
Yes, we did contact you the other day. there are four of us going out tomorrow. Thanks for the info about the game.
I dunno who we will be supporting, but it is usually the home team in these circumstances although i do have a liking for some of the wine from the Tarragona region so that might be my quirky reason for supporting the away side.
I will check later in the week for updated info.
Thanks again

From the Hércules website.

So it's a 12 noon kick off on the Sunday and the game will also be on Canal+ Alicante who share the José Rico Pérez stadium (but not the same success!) will incidentally be away at nearby Levante in Valencia next weekend.
